Features Thror’s Map and the Map of Wilderland on integral pages, together with the eight standard black and white illustrations. The standard five colour illustrations are recorded in the list of illustrations but are not present.

This is a book club edition produced from the 12th Impression of the 1996 HarperCollins Edition. It is possible that further impressions were also used by The Book People.

Similar to the HarperCollins Edition except for the lack of any colour illustrations, a different ISBN number (ISBN 0007637705) and the title page featuring the Ted Smart imprint instead of that of HarperCollins.
