In The Fellowship of the Ring, the map showing A Part of The Shire appears on page 24.
In The Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers, the map of The West of Middle-earth at the End of the Third Age and the Map of Gondor, Rohan and Mordor appear spread over integral pages.
In The Return of the King, the map of The West of Middle-earth at the End of the Third Age and the Map of Gondor, Rohan and Mordor appear spread over the final pages.
The maps were redrawn by Stephen Raw in 1994.

This set includes:

The Fellowship of the Ring
The Two Towers
The Return of the King

Copies of the 5th Impression onward were issued in this slipcase. Some time between 2002 and 2005, probably in 2004, the colour of the lettering on the books was changed from silver to white but the lettering on the slipcase remained in silver.
