Iumonna Gold Galdre Bewunden was published in a revised form in The Oxford Magazine in 1937.

Both the 1923 and 1937 versions are reprinted in Beowulf and the Critics along with an intermediate version (printed twice, the first time without the final stanza).

The poem is also reprinted in a further revised form in The Adventures of Tom Bombadil (as The Hoard).

The image opposite shows the May 1930 issue – the January 1923 issue may have been similar.
