Not included in The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien. Lot 276 - A letter to Eileen Elgar dated 5 March 1964 accompanied by a manuscript outlining The Silmarillion. The lot description includes quotes from the letter discussing The Silmarillion and from the outline of the book. Neither is included in The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien. A genealogical tree entitled 'Kinship of the Half-elven' is also reproduced. Lot 277 - A letter to Eileen Elgar dated 22 September 1963.
