1st Impression dustwrapper has price of 6s net.

There were three impressions issued in this state, all essentially similar:

1st Impression 1949 – 4,500 copies
2nd Impression 1957 – 3,950 copies
3rd Impression 1961

One copy of the 1st Impression has been seen with the titling on the dustwrapper offset slightly to the left.

Copies of the 2nd Impression dustwrapper were mispriced at 7s. 6s. They have been price clipped and the correct price (7s. 6d) added with a stamp. One copy of the 2nd Impression has been seen with blank endpapers rather than with the normal dragon pattern.

Some copies of the 3rd Impression have been seen in 4th Impression dustwrappers, and similarly 4th impression copies have been seen in 5th impression dustwrappers.
