This edition only includes a brief excerpt from the Appendices - A Part of the Tale of Aragorn and Arwen from the Annals of the Kings and Rulers.
For this impression changes were made to the lettering on the upper and lower covers as well as to the spine.
Further minor changes to the cover lettering were made for the 12th Impression 1973.
One copy of the 11th Impression has been seen in the cover used for the 12th Impression 1973.
