In The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King, the 1954 version of the map of The West of Middle-earth at the End of the Third Age appears spread over the final pages.
In The Return of the King, the Map of Gondor, Rohan and Mordor appears on pages 12-13.

1st Impression 1974 – for export only
2nd Impression 1974 – for domestic sale
3rd Impression 1975

According to Hammond only the later domestic copies noted above were issued in the sleeve, but two sets of export first impressions have also been seen in this sleeve - whether these are as issued is uncertain.
